1 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c margarine (or butter, or oil)
1/3 c peanut butter
1 egg
1 c quick cooking oats
1 c chocolate chips
Mix well all ingredients except chocolate chips and press into a 13x9 greased pan. Mixture will be dry but will press in easily. If too dry, it will crumble and not stay together in squares. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Sprinkel chocolate chips on top to allow to melt. Then spread with icing.
Icing:
1/2 c icing sugar
1/4 c peanut butter
3-5 T milk
Beat all ingredients together until spreading consistency is obtained.
