Selah again...

I feel like I need to post more often. We do have a lot going on, I just think things are more interesting when there are pictures to go with the stories. So, for lack of pictury things for us to post about, here is Selah at two weeks old...

So, since I have a picture to make my post interesting...

Doug and I have been busy lately helping out at church. There seems to be a list of things that have been waiting for us to come along and take care of. The needs that we have found there have really been great because we have been excited and able to take care of them. This week, Doug was able to work on a room that needed some fixing up while I organized the library and got the nursery together. It is really a neat thing to be in a place where we can serve in such a capacity.

We have also been able to get to know our new neighbors a little better. On Tuesday we had a barbecue with a few other couples and one tiny three week old baby:). It has been really fun as we have great people living around us. Last night we came home to some yummy dessert in our fridge and a beautiful planter full of lovely flowers!

Coming up soon is our first anniversary so we are looking forward to a long weekend in Seaside! (We hope for the best this time for our camera...salt water and digital cameras don't mix...)

For Easter weekend Doug and I got to go to Canada to see Mom and Dad...among other friends too. Since my computer seems to think everything I do should be erased...I have to keep it short...enjoy the pictures! (above is a picture of Vancouver)
Easter evening we spent out around the fire, enjoying fried shrimp, sweet potato fries and corn...

The next day we enjoyed the beautiful weather at the Queen Elizabeth Park. We enjoyed the flowers that had begun to bloom...

A fun fountain...

Mom and Dad in front of the city...
I added this picture because I think it makes us look like we are floating...

We also got to enjoy some time watching Selah over skype...modern technology!

Willow Grove...

Doug and I have been taking the dogs out to play at the Columbian River. Willow Grove is a great park right on the river that we can let the dogs run and play. They also have great places for picnics and fires.

The last day that we went out was this weekend, the sun was finally out so we really enjoyed the day in the sun!
