Pizza Pizza

I couldn't decide what to make for the potluck at church on Sunday so I decided to have fun with my sugar cookie dough. This pizza was so much fun to make...I will definately be making this with kids someday! I used reeces pieces, nerds, m&ms, peanuts, gummy bears, and some pieces had a mix of each! On the way to church I started to wonder how the demographic would like it...but it was a hit! I didn't even get to try a piece!

The gummy bear pieces were my favorite!!!

Recipe for Sugar Cookie dough:

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1/2 tsp salt

2 tsps baking powder

2 cups flour

1/2 tsp vanilla

Cream together butter and sugar; blend in egg. Mix in the rest of the dry ingredients and vanilla. The recipe says to chill for 30mins-1 hour but I use it right from the bowl. (When I chilled it before it got to crumbly.)

Sorry no recipe for frosting...I bought it from the store!

Welcome to our new place...the old blog needed some updating. Since blogger won't let you change anything on blogs once they are set up and too much time passes without updates...we decided to start fresh. Enjoy.

Birthday Celebrations...

The birthday partying started the Saturday before my birthday when we met Grandma and Grandpa as well as Julie and Stan for dinner at Red Lobster. (Julie's birthday was that day) It was a good time with family...and great food!

On my birthday Doug took me out to dinner at a mexican restaurant in town...if I could remember the name I would tell you. It was sooo good, we were stuffed! Then they brought a birthday dessert...it was yummy too!

Me and Doug at my birthday dinner...

The day after my birthday, I had to go to Portland for my three month eye check up, so we made an afternoon of it and went out for dinner AGAIN! We ate at fundruckers and got a yummy lemon merange pie... After dinner we went shopping at Washington Square mall and enjoyed walking the mall together...(the camera batery died at fudruckers so we didn't get that many pictures)

Doug gave me a gift certificate to get my nails done...they were running a special for a 'spa' pedicure that day...so I went for it. I have always been a bit nervous about pedicures but now I am definately a fan...here is the work of art...
