Some of our favorite things...

So, we don't have kids yet and in the mean time, we are just going to go ahead and be one of those couples who sends people pictures of their dogs. Just to put that out there.
Lately, we have been enjoying some particular things so I thought I would post some pictures of what we have been doing with our time.

Jasmine, in her old age of almost 2 years has taken to napping as often as she can...really if it is raining outside, she is inside sleeping...

Upstairs in our house, we have our bedroom and a big area that we hadn't done much with until recently. We were afraid to put our nice rug out since we had a new puppy...but since he has been doing so well we took a chance. So, here you go, my favorite room in the house...

Dallas suddenly started acting his age (he is six months old on the 21st of this month and 60 pounds already). Up until now he has acted uncharacteristically mature for his age. Then, two days ago, he turned puppy. (Last night, I made dinner and walked into the living room for ONE SECOND and in that time he pulled Doug's full plate of food off of the counter) He is curious...

Happy and chewing on everything...including my afghan that Grandma made me...bad dog!

He gets into everything outside...rolls in the wet grass, plays in the rain and loves to eat dirt...here he is coming inside for the evening, he loves to get dried off with a towel...

Each evening when Doug gets home, Dallas has a great deal of energy and he and Doug play until Doug runs out of steam. Here are some shots of that...not sure why they are playing with an empty pill bottle here but I promise it was empty!

We do interact with people...here is some proof. We had a cookout at our house a while back...we enjoyed a nice evening with friends... (looks like Dallas is about to get a hot dog from an unsuspecting Pam)

Not sure what face I am making here but had to get a shot of the food in here...

We love our "fire-pit"...all of that top comes off so it is nice for cooking hot dogs and enjoying the warm fire!
