For our anniversary this year we took a long weekend and went to the beach. We enjoyed some nice weather...although not as hot as last year, great food and lots of time in the water. Thanks to the resort we stayed at, we were able to enjoy the water because the pool was heated and the hot tubs were even hotter. On the way there, we decided to stop at the "eagle wildlife refuge", mainly because we had seen the signs many times before and were just curious. Here we are at the 'refuge'...
and...the refuge...otherwise known as 'the wetlands'...
We also stopped in Astoria to check out their stores, we thought they had more thrift stores and antique places but we didn't find them. We did however find an old jail cell...so of course Doug got in it...
We celebrated his release with some DQ dipped cones...
